The life

of the root

There is a form of life in every frame that I attribute to myself, just as there is a possible frame to attribute to every form of life. I have primarily sought those frames that offer me the possibility of an essential change of perspective, understanding nature as the root of humanity’s life and survival, far from being an element of decoration or an instrument in the landscape. In a general context – thus understanding the phenomena that have occurred worldwide -, but also in a particular case – strictly targeting national geography -, the roots are the ones that carry the development and continuity of natural vegetation.

There is a perfect relationship between the root and the trunk of a tree that targets life itself. Each root is perfect for the stem that it nourishes, just as each stem is perfect for the root that works for it. Following the cutting of forests, the roots are the only ones that remain and that still hint at the perfect whole that was.
